Light, Colors and Vocabulary

Hello fellow 6th graders and class mates!
THIS is my first scribe post. In class today we colored in our diagrams to show the primary colors of light and paint.
We learned not to mix marker ink cause then you just get a smudge of black and the color you were trying to make. We also talked about which vocabulary we would have to do for honework and the answer is...
ALL THE WAY FROM, RAY - CONVEX LENS, I know its a lot.
We had a lovley time coloring and getting to work on our homework in class.

And the next scribe is........ NATHAN!!!!!!!

  1. Hi there Karin - This is Ms. D. You definitely want to put more information here. Remember we started off the class with reviewing the EMS and all the parts of it. You could think about includig links to information about that. Plus we discussed transparent, translucent and opaque before moving into colors and light and pigments. You do not have enough information. You also want to include some pictures or links to things to "spice" up what you do have - even a link to Moodle would help in explaining what is for homework. I will not grade this until Friday, but you want to add more information. Thanks :) Ms. D.

  2. Hey Karin, nice picture and nice colors but here's a tip, you should definitely put more information about which colors were mixed and what color they made together. You should also include the definitions of the words ray-convex lens and that would make your scribe look more complete and it would attract the reader. I like the scribe in general but next time try to include more about the materials we used in class, great 1st scribe.

P.S http://www.tooter4kids.com/Light_Color/Rainbows.htm is an interesting website that can give a little bit of info. and explains materials about the rainbow and about light.

  3. Hi Karin!
I think that your blog was rather colorful and I also liked that you added pictures as well. However, one part of the text was yellow and it was hard for me to read. Also next time, you may want to add more specific details about what you did and what you learned during class. So when other people read it they will be able to understand what happened during class.

  4. Hey Karin, you have a lot of colors on your scribe and it's nice when you look at it, but you should add more information. One of the things that you could have done is the vocabulary that we did in class and their meanings. Overall, nice work!!!
